Analysis and control of Twin Wind Turbine subject to asymmetric fault

Abstract : The concept of healthy twin wind turbines is recently studied in the literature. Control in the dq-frame, based on the symmetric of the healthy system, has been proposed. Nevertheless the robustness of such control with respect to asymmetric faultshas not been studied. In this paper, is proposed a new asymmetric model in abc-frame, taking into consideration an electrical fault. The healthy control is tested in the framework of the faulty model, and simulations show that some robustifications are necessary.
