Adaptation of an embedded architecture to run Hyperledger Sawtooth Application
Résumé
We want to study the adaptability of blockchain technology on IoT devices. In this paper we studied Hyperledger Sawtooth adaptability on a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ depending on the requirements of a special use case described by our industrial partner Renault. In addition to the study of Hyperledger Sawtooth adaptability, we modified the model of the BCM2837 architecture on SystemC-TLM. This model is known as the ”heart” of the Raspberry Pi 3 B+. By our knowledge, this work conducts to the first IoT architecture able to interact with others by using a Hyperledger Sawtooth blockchain. By using this modification we could also obtain a significant gain, an acceleration of 112 for SHA-256 and 293 for SHA-512 cryptographic algorithms.
