Vers la modélisation de deux sites d'Asie Mineure : Xanthos de Lycie et Telmessos de Carie

Abstract : The program we shall expose today started in Xanthos in 2005 and was recently enlarged to Telmessos de Carie (Alazeytin kalesi) within the frame of the ANR “Euploia” Carie-Lycie project. Our work first focuses on the modelling of already studied ancient monuments and aims at the global 3D reconstruction of the sites they belong to. The monuments (honorific arch, civic basilica, temple or herôon) are variously preserved and our theoretical knowledge of them is quite dissimilar : we shall propose here a provisonnal account of the difficulties we encountered and of the scientific and methodologic results already achieved.
