Concomitants et p-uplets de matrices 2 x 2

Using the methods of the classical invariant theory, we construct a set of generators for the ring of concomitants of several n × n-matrices. For n = 2, we obtain a minimal system of generators. We also give a complete classifcation of similarity classes for pairs and p-tuples of 2 × 2-matrices
