Uniplanar monopulse antenna based on the ODD/EVEN excitation of a coplanar line

A uniplanar microstrip antenna, finding application in monopulse radars, is proposed. Two series-fed slot arrays are fed by a coplanar waveguide transmission line excited either in its coplanar mode, or coupled slot line mode, which provide the difference (Δ) and sum (Σ) patterns, respectively.
