Experimental strategy for a system based curve warning system for a safe governed speed of a vehicle
Résumé
This paper presents the experimental architecture of an integrated system to prevent driver from taking a curve with a dangerous speed. The integrated system is divided into three functions that consists in knowing the geometry characteristics of the coming road, in computing a safe speed according to the road section, the vehicle and the driver and in achieving the speed control of the vehicle in order to compute a safe speed in the case that the driver does not achieve it. The experimental architecture of this system is detailed in order to discuss the different encountered problems in a technical point of view.
