Comparison between copper and silver about arc roots

To take the thermal phénomena on the electrode submitted to a heat flux, and the vaporisation of material into account, we make modelling by Stefan problem in one dimension case. So the numerical treatment based on the method of the finite element gives, for a fixed heat flux: the thermal cartography of the electrod, th instant of apparition of the different phases, the values of the energy corresponding to the different phases (solid, liquid,vapour), the depths of the solid, liquid and vapour sheaths.
