Two Generalized Competing Risks Models for Maintenance Analysis

Résumé

This paper considers the modelling of the dependency between corrective maintenance (CM) and condition-based preventive maintenance (PM) of complex repairable systems. In order to take into account both the dependency between PM and CM and the possibility of imperfect maintenance, Generalized Competing Risks (GCR) models have been introduced in Doyen-Gaudoin (2006). In this paper, we study two particular GCR models, namely the Generalized Random Sign models and a generalization of an exponential conditionally independent GCR model presented in Dijoux et al (2008). An application to real data is presented for the second model.
