ESR STUDY OF THE STRUCTURE OF Fe (III) IN SILICATE GLASSES OF DIFFERENT BASICITIES
Résumé
Li, Na, K, Cs silicate glasses which contain various iron concentrations were investigated by ESR. The basicity of these glasses was also determined. The systematic behaviour of Fe3+ in these glasses shows clearly that the resonance g=4,2 represents Fe3+ in "tetrahedral" coordination and g≈2 Fe3+ in "octahedral" position.
