Résumé

The ISAC Radioactive Ion Beams (RIB) facility can deliver RIB to a linear accelerator composed of a 4-rod RFQ followed by a linear accelerator which can provide beams from A/q ≤ 30 amu in an energy range from 0.15 to 1.5 A*MeV. An accelerator extension allows us to extend the mass range to A=150 amu and the energy up to 6.5 A*MeV. The minimal charge state requirement for A = 150 is q=5 which can be accomplished with an on-line ECRIS like MISTIC which is under test at ISAC-TRIUMF. By coupling a selective 1+ source like a the resonant laser ionization via a RFQ mass analyzer to an ECRIS one can obtain a RIB with high purity and high charge state can be obtained.
