Co-Designing Socio-Technical Solutions to Regulate Workplace Communication

This paper is dedicated to the genesis of the interdisciplinary project VERTUOSE. The VERTUOSE project aims to reduce communication overload in the workplace by developing a co-designed socio-technical solution with employees. The interdisciplinary research project combines various fields of expertise to create a comprehensive solution tailored to employees' needs and preferences. Starting from the results of previous surveys on communication in the workplace, we will justify the theoretical and methodological choices made in the construction of this research project. Finally, we will return to the importance of collective problem formulation as a necessary condition for co-design of solutions.
