AND Y. N. KOROTKEVITCH 5 The high resolution of the Vostok records provides a unique look at the causes of paleoclimatic variability during the last complete glacial cycle. The records present strong evidence for the interaction between orbital forcing and internal, physico-chemical mechanisms of variability.
