Abstract : The multi-disciplinary consortium for the CIRCULAR project focuses on how to develop the right conditions as well as the necessary technologies for the creation of new circular production systems, able to transform post-used products in very new products. As a part of this project, the development of the platform "Smart workshops for industry – Operation Management" will enable different work configurations using 4.0 technologies, focusing on digital resources -massive data management, IoT, etc.-, but also on physical systems -cobotic, virtual/augmented reality, exoskeleton, etc.-. Equipped with these new key technologies, the materialized supply chain will make it possible to test and adapt different production contexts -conventional linear production, circular production such as reuse, production under constraints of uncertainty, high variability, etc.-, from different approaches such as logistics, computational intelligence, r(c)obotics, automation but also through ergonomics and socio-technical framework, simultaneously. As a result, the platform will provide a central tool for researchers working on circular industrial systems.
