This paper deals with the experimental hygrothermal characterization of an ancient clay brick, representative of old industrial buildings from the early 20th century in eastern France. The renovation and reconversion of industrial heritage buildings need an accurate knowledge of the properties of existing buildings envelopes. The main objective of this paper is thus to give experimental data about the hygrothermal properties of an ancient brick.
