When Vlogging Educates in Politics: The French Case of “Osons Causer”

Résumé

In the digital age and with the advent of the social web new genres are emerging. In this article, through the study of the case of the French YouTube channel "Osons causer", we try to characterize the technodiscursive genre "vlogue" with the help of recent concepts from digital discourse analysis and to see to what extent it reconfigures political education and civic debates between Internet users.
