Fatigue multi-physique de matériaux composites à matrice organique stratifiés croisés [0/90] s pour applications aéronautiques
Résumé
The work focuses on “multi-physical” fatigue of laminated model “cross-ply” [02/902]s carbon fiber/organic matrix (epoxy) composites, illustrating the onset and the development of damage related to cyclic mechanical solicitations (fatigue) under controlled (temperature and gas) environment. Results show that an oxidizing environment (particularly 2 bar O2) affects significantly damage kinetics. A simple model based on fracture mechanics and on the notion of energy release rate helps explaining and quantifying the observed phenomena.
