Modulation format independent joint polarization demultiplexing and IQ imbalance compensation

Abstract : We propose a new joint Tx-IQ imbalance compensation and polarization de-multiplexing algorithm for arbitrary M-QAM coherent systems. Evaluated metrics demonstrate its effectiveness as a blind approach compared to cascaded CMA and BASS algorithms.
