Résumé

In the last 18 years, the research interest in business models has grown exponentially, leading to an international community of business model scholars. For the last 5 years this academic conference has brought together nearly 100+ international scholars, postgraduates and industry leaders from a multitude of disciplines including entrepreneurship, strategy, HRM, organization, finance, accounting, marketing and operations management. The objective has been to orchestrate a friendly and supportive community for the scholars of the field. Indeed, the days will buzz with constructive feedback and discussions on research and teaching within the cross-disciplinary field of business models. This is one of the ways the Business Model Conference stands out. Also, researchers are requested to submit in a Short Paper format (2.500 words) to fast-track the subsequently business model publishing process and thereby, speed up the development of business model research.
