A cascade predictor for nonlinear systems with a constant output delay
Résumé
In this paper, one aims at revisiting the cascade observer design for a class of nonlinear systems with a constant output delay. This allows to remove the delayed state observer which is commonly used in the available cascade observer design, leading thereby to an adequate state predictor. A particular attention is paid to the exponential convergence of the prediction error toward zero, with a convergence speed similar to what has already been done previously. However, a gain in the number of subsystems is made thanks to this predictive version. The performances of the proposed predictor are highlighted through promising simulation results.
