Our study concerns the tension between stability and evolutions in the teachers' practices, with a documentational approach perspective. We have followed an experienced teacher, implementing in her grade 11 class a study and research path (SRP) described in a booklet published by an Institute for Research in Mathematics Education, and entitled "How does a parabolic antenna work?" We analyze this booklet, then how the teacher uses it together with other resources. We identify instrumentalisation processes (influence of operational invariants on the use of resources) which lead the teacher to move away from the principles of the SRP as described by the theory. We also observe evolutions of the teacher's practice and instrumentation processes. This case study suggests directions for resources design and for the communication of research results.
