Appréhender l’impact des pratiques agricoles sur l’état biologique et le fonctionnement du sol. Quelles recommandations et pistes de R&D en matière de pilotage biologique des sols ?

Abstract : The biological management of soils is a cornerstone for agriculture to reach agroecology. Diagnosis tools have been developed and validated over the past decade through participative research approaches merging researchers and stakeholders. Today, these tools are dedicated to evolve. Validating new bioindicators will allow a finer description of soils, the massive acquisition of biological data will allow the development of predictive models to diagnose the impact of agricultural practices and of synthesis indicators to evaluate, for example, the sanitary state of soils. Nevertheless, this evolution will have to be associated to the estimation of the economic gain related to the biological management of soils. The development of participative research networks involving researchers and farmers will be a leverage to reach these goals and will allow the co-construction of decision tools adapted to their needs together with the agricultural advisory adapted to these new tools and to the goals of farmers.
