Le questionnaire d'écoute musicale : Un questionnaire expérientiel.

Abstract : In a previous publication assessing the deficits of musical listening and temporal perception (1), we had developed a questionnaire in French, which allowed us to describe the disorganization of musical listening in the post-concussive syndrome following mild or moderate brain trauma. This experiential questionnaire was built on a phenomenological and semi-quantitative approach and the changes in the musical experience were evaluated with questions such as "How do you feel?", "How do you feel?" in order to describe as closely as possible the patient's experience, avoiding generalities or problems related to his opinions, in the spirit of the Experiential Phenomenological Interview (EPE) (2,3). This questionnaire at the time had not been published, but the development of the program SoMuThé (Sounds, Music, Therapy) within the UMR CNRS 7061 PRISM, leads us to take this questionnaire and propose it to the scientific community. It should be noted that this questionnaire has not been evaluated as required for the construction of clinical scales. This questionnaire is built in the logic of a before and after illness, in practice here the brain trauma. But it is usable after any acute or chronic cerebral or psychic pathology. We also added in the appendix a questionnaire for healthy subjects, obviously much less rich, but likely to be useful in a context of musicological studies for example.
