Transnational Mobilizations The Case of the International Migration Service, 1921-1939

Abstract : This article, which analyzes the transnational mobilization of the International Migration Service (IMS) from 1921 to 1939, focuses on its composition, resources and strategies. On the one hand, it helps to understand the interaction between State players, private associations and international organizations. On the other hand, it sheds light on the construction of the migration issue considered in a social and international perspective.
