Semantic correspondence between vector graphics and user-actor ontology: application to a social networking site
Our contribution to the field of Information and Communication Sciences is focused on the user-actor profile in the SignaComm, the social networking site with an international vocation. We develop a prototype of a software called OPUS. The purpose is to structure the user-actor profile and to visualize the result in a Web application page. OPUS is based on the construction of a user-actor ontology, vector “signagrams” (or vector graphics) and semantic lexical resources. The “signagram” is the writing unit in signage. We develop the OPUS and implement it in the SignaComm to test its ability to structure and represent the user-actor profile.
