法譯中國古典小說和戲曲在法國漢學歷史上的地位

Abstract : Chinese classical novels and dramas were translated into French by Jesuits in the 18th century, then transmitted to Europe along with classical works and poetry; they were important channels through which the West explored and got to know China's classical civilization, society and history. Over its three centuries of history, French sinology has given translation of the Chinese novel and classical theatre a place that has varied greatly. Of great interest to many sinologists, this literatures of fiction helped to understand ancient Chinese culture; it was also considered a resource for the study of the Chinese language. It was only after the beginning of the 20th century that classical novel and drama acquired an independent status within the French sinological landscape.
