The partial homogenization for a rod
Résumé
A great number of applied problems contain small parameters. Normally their presence either in the equation or in the domain makes the numerical implementation more complicated more time and memory consuming. This issue emphasizes the importance of the asymptotic methods studying the behavior of the solution as the small parameter goes to zero.
