Ge-rich SiGe photonic integrated circuits for mid-IR spectroscopy

Abstract : Recent works towards the development of Ge-rich SiGe photonic integrated circuits will be presented, such as the demonstration of low-loss waveguides and ultra-wideband Mach Zehnder interferometer from 5.5 to 8.6 µm wavelength, as well as the first steps towards the realization of efficient wideband optical sources.
