Medical image database on the grid: strategies for data distribution.

We propose in this paper, different strategies for storing a large medical images database, and show that minimizing the global execution time of typical image indexing requests can be the result of a compromise between launching a large number of small jobs or launching a smaller number of tasks, each of which is longer to execute.
