Adaptation de contenus multimédias pour les systèmes d'information pervasifs

Abstract : In this article, we are interested in the problems of multimedia content adaptation within the framework of a pervasive information system. We propose a software architecture specifically conceived for the adaptation of contents guaranteeing at the same time flexibility, modularity and extensibility. This architecture is based on a formal modeling of the adaptation of multimedia contents. Concepts of adaptation constraint, adaptation operator, adaptation service, logical graph of adaptation have formal definition within the framework of a total formal system. Moreover, this modeling makes it possible to reformulate the problem of content adaptation in a pervasive system like a problem of optimization of structures of graphs. Finally, we describe the experiments done on prototype of sport information search founded on the architecture and the model suggested in this article.
