L'artiste passe-muraille ?

Abstract : Based on the analysis of contemporary art works produced around the Israeli built barrier surrounding the West Bank, the text questions both the act of border crossing and the norms one needs to address to pass the line, as well the the active resistance process that this crossing implies. Through it very special relalationship to place, "border art" questions spatializing processes through the viscosity of matter in movement. The examples that are developped here contribute to the debates on the performative power of border "dispositifs" and question the relation of in situ art works towards movement.
