Sourcing and re-sourcing teachers activity
Résumé
This paper concerns a Brazilian-French joint research regarding math teachers and their activity related to design and use of resources. More precisely, it refers to two axes of this project, dedicated to ICT integration and to teachers’ didactical decisions. Since the project has just begun, this paper aims at presenting a new theoretical approach to teachers’ documentation as a possible common background, and some preliminary observations as possible seeds for further elaboration. The main questions are: how do teachers act, alone or collectively, to gather and exploit resources enabling them to teach? How comparative studies could help understand what is at stake in teachers’ documentation? We present here some reflexions on the first question. Results based on comparative studies will be reported at the next PME.
