Experimental evidence of a fundamental noise floor at the tens of millihertz level in laser locking onto unbalanced fibre-based Michelson interferometer

Abstract : We show the existence and explain the origin of a fundamental frequency noise floor at the tens of millihertz level when a low noise laser is locked on an unbalanced long-fiber-based Michelson interferometer.
