Usages de ressources numériques pour l'enseignement des mathématiques en maternelle : orchestrations et documents

Abstract : In this article we study the uses of digital resources for teaching mathematics at kindergarten (3 to 6 years pupils). We refer to the theoretical framework of the documentational approach and to the notion of orchestration. Using digital resources for teaching mathematics requires from the teacher a complex work to design new situations. It involves changes in teacher's resources, practices and knowledge. In this article, we explore these aspects. Our research is based on the work of a group working in France and involving researchers, trainers and teachers, the MARENE group. This group develops sets of resources (software, tangible material, scenarios) for teaching numbers at Kindergarten. We follow a long-term documentation work of a teacher, member of this group, who implements one of these sets of resources. We show that interactions with resources contribute to the development of practices and knowledge of this teacher.
