Abstract : In this article we present the multi-structured documents problem and offer an overview of existing solutions. We then notice that they do not consider the problem of constructing such documents. In this context, we use our experience with philosophers who are building a digital edition of the work of Jean-Toussaint Desanti, in order to propose a methodology for construction of multi-structured documents. This methodology is based on the MultiX² system in order to represent such documents. Moreover the functions and data structures that come with this methodology are expressed in the Haskell functional programming language.
