Variation des comportements vestimentaires chez les immigrés africains : Entre pôle occidental et pôle traditionnel
Résumé
The changing attitudes concerning clothes among Subsaharian Immigrants and their children are linked to the history of their relations with the French society. The choice of the clothes : traditionnel "boubou" , suit or sweat with a hood or a cap of the New York yankees is determined by three belongings : social, cultural and generationnal. It depends of a will to play with the traditionnal codes and those of the dominant society.
La mutation des comportements vestimentaires des immigrés d'Afrique sub saharienne et de leurs enfants jalonnent l'histoire de leurs relations avec la société française. Le choix des vêtements, qu'il s'agisse d'un boubou, d'un costume ou d'un sweat à capuche accompagné d'une casquette des yankees de New York est déterminé par une triple appartenance : sociale, culturelle et générationnelle. Il dépend tout autant des espaces fréquentés que de la volonté de jouer avec les codes traditionnels et ceux de la société dominante
