PICS DE POLLUTION PAR L'OZONE A NICE : COMPARAISON ENTRE 2007 ET 2015 DES MESURES ITINERANTES ET DES CONDITIONS METEOROLOGIQUES ASSOCIEES

Abstract : Peaks of pollution by ozone in Nice: comparison between 2007 and 2015 of the itinerant measures and the associated weather conditions. The Alpes-Maritimes are regularly confronted during the photochemical season with ozone peaks. Campaigns of itinerant measures by bicycle were led regularly in 2007 and again in 2015 on the same route of 50 km to Nice and in its neighborhood at midday between April and September. For each of these two years the day of measures the most polluted by ozone (more than 140 µg/m 3 on average) were extracted to characterize their synoptic configurations (ERA-Interim reanalysis) partially responsible of recorded concentrations. Unsurprisingly the average meteorological situations on these two groups of days are close; anticyclonic ridge, low thicknesses of planetary boundary layer and thermal breezes are associated with these strong concentrations. So and even when the European emissions standards are more and more restrictive and even when the emission inventories of primary pollutants of ozone illustrate reductions marked between 2007 and 2015, the concentrations of ozone do not ease during the polluted episodes.
