Independent Safety Systems for Autonomy : State of the Art and Future Directions

Abstract : A state of the art about safety monitoring systems is presented in this report, which is aimed at presenting the explicit methods that are presented in order to specify the behaviour of the safety system. Furthermore, we studied what are the characteristics of the design of the safety systems and their relevant monitoring capabilities.
