A New Analytical EMC Model of Power Electronics Converters based on Quadripole System: Application to Demonstrate the Mode Decoupling Condition

Résumé

This paper proposes a new general method to model converters by a four-terminal circuit which consists in a π- quadripole network containing three impedances between each pair of electrical access, L to N, L to G and N to G. The impedances analytical expressions have been established using quadripole theory, and depend both on the converter switching function and impedances. The analytical method developed is applied on a DC-DC converter and validated with PSpice simulations and an experimental measurement. This approach is applied to highlight the condition of the common mode and differential mode decoupling.
