Influence de la voxelisation sur la génération de trajectoires 5 axes sans collision par champs répulsifs

Abstract : For machining parts with reduced accessibility, global collisions between the tool, tool holder and workpiece are a crucial geometrical step to validate each computation step of the algorithms for tool path generation. The iterative calculations of distance lead to a very high complexity, degrading the computation time of the entire tool path. Within the context of tool path generation managed by a dynamic behavior, the proposed study analyzes the effect of a voxel based model for the repulsive force field providing non collision between the tool surfaces and obstacles. The analysis is performed through a case of study of an impeller like complex surface. It allows high gains of computation time versus small geometrical effects on generated tool paths.
