A DUAL PUF/TRNG DESIGN BASED ON TRANSIENT EFFECT RING OSCILLATORS
Résumé
We discuss the interest of using both TRNG and PUF to enhance the security of hardware authentication protocols (especially the remote activation of a chip). Then we present the PUF/TRNG based en TEROs and an evaluation of the design in different technologies. We demonstrate the efficiency of the method by comparing both the PUF and TRNG performances and security with some typical PUF and TRNG designs.
