Abstract

This paper introduces the main modulation improvements brought by the future Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs) compared to the currently available GPS C/A signal. Its impact on the code and phase tracking performance is illustrated and its implication on the design of these two tracking loop design is analyzed.
