Southeast Asian 'Indianness'. A Local vs. Trans-regional Perspective

This paper is an attempt towards a definition of the concept "Indianization" in 'Indianized' Southeast Asia. Through an anthropological and diachronic approach, the complex phenomenon of adstratization of an exogenous Indo-Aryan literacy upon autochthonous Southeast Asian Oral Tradition civilizations is explored.
