Non-adiabatic transitions in a simple Born-Oppenheimer scattering system

Abstract : We study non-adiabatic scattering transitions in the Born-Oppenheimer limit for a molecular Schrödinger operator in which the nuclei have one degree of freedom and the electron Hamiltonian is a 2×2 matrix.
