Le paratexte au Siècle d'Or. Présentation du projet "Les Idées du Théâtre" (édition et traduction des textes liminaires placés en tête des pièces françaises, italiennes et espagnoles des XVIe et XVIIe siècles)
Résumé
Owing to my work on paratext, carried out in the framework of my doctoral thesis (Le paratexte au siècle d'or, Genève, Droz, 1996) and in subsequent diverse publications, I was approached by Marc Vuillermoz (Laboratoire LLS, Université de Savoie) Director of the Project "Les idées du theatre" to co-manage the Hispanic domain of this international project with Christophe Couderc (Université de Paris 10). This ANR Project unites three laboratories: LLS (littérature, langage, société of university of Savoie which links Marc Vuillermoz), the ILCEA (laboratory of University Stendhal to which I belong) http://w3.u-grenoble3.fr/ilcea/spip/, the CELEC (University of Saint-Etienne) the CELLF (Centre d'études de la langue et la littérature française des XVIIe et XVIIe siècles (Paris IV). The IDT project reunites specialists from literature, and from the history of theater in France, in Spain and in Italy, and aims to edit the entirety of all preliminary texts from the three countries and from the two centuries containing information on "les idées du theatre." Additionally it proposes an interdisciplinary reflection on the preliminary texts putting ahead the French, Spanish and Italian plays of the 16th and 17th centuries - prefaces, dedications, arguments, etc. - sensitive theater paratext bringing to light the construction and the circulation of the "theatrical ideas" in Europe, from the Renaissance to the Classical Age
