Study of absorption on the wings of sodium resonance line perturbed by molecular hydrogen

The unified theory line profiles for neutral Na perturbed by H2 are obtained using new set of ab initio potentials calculated for several collision geometries. The results are of interest for modeling exoplanet and brown dwarf atmospheres.
