An improved digital predistortion method under noisy environment

Abstract

In this paper, a memory polynomial/linear interpolation look-up table (MP/LILUT) method based on direct learning architecture is proposed for linearizing a Power Amplifier (PA) with nonlinear memory effects. This method combines the MP technique with linear interpolation LUT technique. Thanks to the linear interpolation LUT technique, the proposed method can achieve a good performance with a small table size and low complexity. We compare its performances with three other techniques under noisy conditions, particularly with the technique based on indirect learning architecture. Simulation results validate the performances of the proposed method.
