Energy exchange between a Dahl-type hysteretic system and a coupled non-smooth structure

The vibratory energy exchange between a Dahl-type hysteretic and non-smooth energy sink systems at different time scales is studied. Invariant manifold of the overall system at the fast time scale is detected and the behavior of the system at the first scale slow time is pinpointed. The studied accompanied by an example.
