Development of a sustainable Supply Chain Planning tool coupling simulation and optimization techniques

Résumé

The achievement of sustainable industrial performance is a major concern, which should be handled at the supply chain level. It is then necessary to have tools in order to simulate a realistic supply chain behaviour and to evaluate its performances. The problem studied is supply chain planning at tactical level. We propose a tool coupling simulation, with Multi-Agent System, and optimization with Integer Programming. A 2-actor supply chain planning is first studied, with regards to the economic criterion. The aim is then to extend the study (1) taking into account sustainable issues, and (2) with various supply chain structures. First extensions in both directions are presented here.
