L'anthropologie face au tourisme : des méthodes à (re)penser?

Abstract : A. Doquet and O. Evrard have underlined that we need to reinscribe tourism studies in the larger field of research on movements in the globalised world. This assertion raises many questions, in particular on methodology matters. I propose to examine the possibility of using " new " ways of conducting ethnographic fieldwork, such as the multi-sited ethnography defined by G. Marcus, to reach a better understanding of this complex phenomenon.
