Optimisation of distributed maintenance : Modelling and Application to the multi-factory production

Résumé

This paper concerns the modelling and cost evaluation of maintenance activities in a distributed context. In this work we study the particular case where the maintenance activities are executed by two workshops: a central maintenance workshop (CMW) and a mobile maintenance workshop (MMW). The (CMW) concerns the repairing process for the corrective maintenance and the (MMW) execute all preventive maintenance in several factories according to a defined scheduling. The aim is to take in account the resources (spare parts in the (MMW) and maintenance actions for a given operating budget. A modular approach for modelling a multi-site structure is proposed to achieve the aim of improving the availability of facilities on production sites while minimizing the cost of maintenance.
